On Tuesday we brought you the story of how Saint Augustine’s Catholic
Church, Nenger, Markudi, Benue State became a centre of attraction after
a hanging crucifix of Christ allegedly began radiating light.
Witnesses said the image , which was a carbon copy of the structure of
Christ when he rose from death after he was crucified and buried, had on
its head a crown, while the entire body was glittering,
like precious stone.
Now a video has emerged showing people, many Christians and non - Christians alike, on sighting the image which was "accompanied by a bright light that overwhelmed the entire church", struggling to place their hands on the crucifix.
They were shouting: “ Jesus save me,” “Jesus the son of God, have mercy on me.”
Truth be told, I watched the clip and didn't see any 'radiance'. It looked like what it is: a statue. Watch it and make up your mind if it is real or mass hysteria.
