These are political thugs arrested by the police in
Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state on the eve of the
rescheduled presidential election.
They allegedly set ablaze vehicles at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC office in the local council.
Upon interrogation, they indicted two members of the State Executive Council and a member of the House of Assembly, as their sponsors.
On Friday night, two persons were shot dead and about thirteen vehicles destroyed after some hoodlums attacked INEC office in Obot-Akara Local Government Council of Akwa Ibom State.
