Tinubu’s Muslim–Muslim Ticket ‘Genocide’ Against Christians; Nigerian Army Compromised –Cleric Dachomo

The Regional Leader of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, on Monday launched a blistering attack on Nigeria’s political leadership, declaring that President Bola Tinubu’s Muslim–Muslim ticket amounts to “complete genocide” against Christians in the country.

Dachomo, who spoke during an interview on The Morning Brief on Channels Television, accused the Federal Government of enabling what he called a creeping Islamic domination agenda, warning that Christians must “wake up from their slumber” to resist it.

“Shettima is a Muslim, the President is a Muslim. Is that not complete genocide to Christians in the political world?” the cleric thundered.

“The way forward is to remove Shettima. They want to control the whole country.”

Declaring that God had “revealed” the danger facing Christians, Dachomo claimed Islamists were deploying a coordinated agenda to subdue Nigeria, warning that his own grandchildren must not be “handed over to Islam.”

According to him, starvation and insecurity were being weaponised to force populations into religious submission.

He further alleged that violence in parts of the North, including clashes involving Fulani herders, was being manipulated to frame Christians as aggressors.

“They kill their cow and turn it around to claim repression. Repression has been abused in Nigeria. The nation is sleeping,” he said.

Dachomo also issued a damning indictment of Nigeria’s security architecture, alleging that the military and other agencies have been compromised by the absorption of so-called repentant Boko Haram fighters.

“The security has been polluted with the absorption of the repentant Boko Haram… They are the ones giving information. They are still with their brothers in the bush,” he said.

He insisted that genuine peace would return if the Nigerian Army withdrew from certain conflict areas, claiming soldiers were worsening the crisis rather than solving it.

The cleric further urged Christian communities to deploy chemicals on their farmlands to deter encroaching cattle, warning that they were prepared for “self-defence.”

Dachomo has made similar explosive claims in the past, including accusations that Muslims he once sheltered were responsible for killing his grandmother.

He has also said Boko Haram terrorists placed a bounty on his head.
